Come down and see for yourself. Bands take stage at 10.30pm. Featuring Latin Big Band ‘Rumberos, San Lazaro, Carlitos Way  bands on rotation’, DJs playing their unique blend of contemporary and classic salsa, reggaeton, r&b, and Latin house, plus guest DJ’s. every Friday Night! Sydney Rd Brunswick has a brand new gay night. “HUNG”

'HUNG' a focus on drag of the Queen and King variety. This soiree will feature entertainment from resident drag troupe, The Spaklettes – who are Polly Filla, Dee Dazzler and Bumpa Love. With a reputation for working the art form hard and fierce, The Sparklettes were nominated in three separate categories at the recent ALSO awards. They walked away with one win: Best costumiers. “HUNG” every Friday night will also feature the talents of 2 male dancers (Go Go Boys) and DJ Argonaut and each week you can look forward to a specialty guest act which will include Drag Kings, Pole Dancers, Agle Grinding shows and much more. First of 3 shows kicks off at 10:30pm but arrive early for a bevy or three with ya mate… The night will be filled with 3 fabulous shows from 10.30pm, giveaways, adult humour and dance music between shows. Our first 4 weeks of shows at Hung will be DIVALISCIOUS, the girls with a little bit extra! Showcasing diva’s like Cher, Bette, Beyonce, Tina and more. Hung is a night for everyone, young and old, its comedy, dancing, glitter and heels. This will be a first of its kind in Brunswick. DIVAliscious, the girls with a little bit extra.

When it comes to checking out a live gig for “research” purposes, it is often found that the most “reliable sources” lie in the reactions of those around you...So when there is a ridiculous amount of foot-stomping, getting “Souja Boy” low, wolf-whistling and Marvin Gaye-esque bumping and grinding going on, it would suggest a talented-as-freak band has hit the stage…Right? Right. Introducing… This sharp, musically-credible act are a jack of all trades; a fused percussion line-up that constantly creates and builds on the ‘vibe’ of its solid rhythms and acoustic melodies. Pushing a tempo that can not be compromised, the boys hailing from Melbourne are slowly building a substantial following and gaining the recognition they deserve on the live circuit. Consisting of a contemporary 3-piece vocal lead backed by a flawless band, Rumours are guaranteed to make you want to shake-your-groove-thing into the wee hours. Ambition, style and an atmosphere screaming, “Get on up!” it’s hard not to resist the charm and get your James Brown on.
